During her tour of Australia, Meghan Markle drew significant attention while sharing her experiences of being targeted on social media for 10 years, joining Prince Harry in warning about the decline of youth mental health.

According to People, on April 16 (local time), Meghan Markle and Prince Harry visited Batyr at Swinburne University of Technology during the third day of their trip.
Batyr is a youth mental health charity in Australia focusing on preventative education and early intervention, primarily working with young people to reduce stigma and encourage those in need of help to speak up.
Meghan Recalls 10 Years of Bullying and Attacks
In a conversation with young participants at the organization, Meghan Markle stated: “For 10 years, every day for 10 years, I have been bullied and attacked. And I am the most trolled person in the entire world. But I am still here. When I think about what you are going through, I realize that it is important to understand that this multi-billion dollar social media industry—which was built and is operated on cruelty to drive clicks—is not going to change. Therefore, you have to be stronger than that.”

Prince Harry also observed that social media causes a great deal of loneliness for many people. He admitted that he is not someone suited for city life: “My mental health cannot handle living in the city, absolutely not.”
In another part of the discussion, Prince Harry mentioned Australia’s ban on children under 16 using social media.

“Australia has led the way. Your government was the first nation in the world to introduce this ban. We could sit here and debate the pros and cons of it; I’m not here to judge. What I want to say is, in terms of responsibility and leadership, it is remarkable. Because many other countries have now followed suit, but it shouldn’t have gotten to the point where things had to be banned.”

Mental health has long been a centerpiece of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s philanthropic efforts, and the biographies on their website describe them both as staunch advocates for the field.
The couple’s four-day tour of Australia includes activities in Melbourne, Canberra, and Sydney, with a program focused on mental health, community resilience, and supporting veterans and their families, alongside private meetings and special projects.
A statement from their office said that mental health and youth empowerment are recurring themes throughout their schedule in Australia, with the visit to the Batyr organization and Prince Harry’s private stop at Movember clearly demonstrating this commitment.

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s friends ‘fear’ their ‘marriage won’t survive’
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have weathered family feuds, media wars and career setbacks together — but according to a new report, people close to the Duke and Duchess of Sussex are growing increasingly concerned that the couple’s relationship is under new strain.
“People in their world are starting to have very real fears that the marriage will not survive,” a source told RadarOnline.com. “The tension is getting worse all the time.”
The claim comes as the couple endures pressure from multiple directions — resurfaced revelations from Harry’s past, renewed scrutiny over how Meghan is presenting their children publicly, fresh questions about their Hollywood future and an ongoing divide over the Duke of Sussex’s desire to return to England.
Uncomfortable revelations
The couple — who will soon celebrate eight years of marriage and a decade together — made headlines in recent weeks after private Facebook messages Harry exchanged with Mail on Sunday journalist Charlotte Griffiths in 2011 and 2012 were made public during his unlawful information gathering case against Associated Newspapers Limited in London, which publishes the MoS and the Daily Mail.
In the messages, Griffiths referred to Harry as “Mr. Mischief” and praised their “fun weekend of naughtiness,” while Harry wrote, “I WISH I was there sugar,” “[I] miss our movie snuggles,” and signed one note, “Mwah xxx.”
Aside from being “embarrassing” for Harry and his wife, the revelations left Meghan “humiliated” because she was allegedly “blindsided” by their release, according to the source.
“Naturally, she’s wondering what else he may have hidden from her. Truth is paramount to [her], so him being dishonest or at best evasive about his past is hitting her hard,” the source said.
Social media clash?
Radar also reported that Harry and Meghan are allegedly clashing over the former Suits star’s frequent social media posts featuring their kids, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet.
“He does not want them paraded around or thrust into the spotlight, and yet Meghan continues to totally defy his wishes,” the source claimed, suggesting it’s creating further friction behind the scenes.
“Meghan is very much the boss in the relationship. She controls almost every aspect of Harry’s life both personally and professionally,” the source said.
“It’s triggering. As a kid, he hated it when he and [brother Prince William] were forced to pose for photographers during their private moments. The fact that his own kids are now being trotted out by Meghan in a similar fashion is not OK with him…”
A rep for the couple denied the claims, Radar reported.
Pulled apart
Professional changes and challenges — including disappointing second-season viewership figures for the duchess’ 2025 With Love, Meghan Netflix cooking and entertaining series, plus the end of her As Ever brand’s partnership with the streamer — as well as Harry’s continued longing for Britain are reportedly making things even more unpleasant.
Radar pointed to fresh questions about the couple’s Hollywood future following a recent report from Variety alleging there’s frustration brewing at Netflix, where the couple have a first-look deal. (A rep for the company and Meghan’s attorney both denied the allegations.)
According to the source, while Meghan loves working in Hollywood, “Harry doesn’t understand or enjoy the culture or mentality” of the industry and is becoming increasingly “fed up” with the constant drama.
At the same time, Harry — who a year ago told the BBC he “would love reconciliation with my family” back in the U.K. — remains eager to repair his ties with his father, King Charles III, amid the monarch’s ongoing cancer battle. Meghan is allegedly reluctant to revisit life in Britain six years after they left.
On top of that, Harry “knows his brother wants nothing to do with him and that things will only get worse once William ascends the throne,” the source said. “Harry is dreading the future and hating his current reality — that’s the brutal truth.”

Prince Harry And Meghan Reportedly Frustrated After King Charles Stayed Silent On Trump’s ‘Bile And Slander’
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are said to have been left disappointed by King Charles for doing nothing to address Donald Trump‘s comments against them during a recent state visit.
The monarch visited the US for his first state visit and was seen in pictures being chummy with the president, who has in the past made several distasteful comments against the Sussexes.
Reports have now claimed that Prince Harry can’t move past the fact that his father didn’t defend him, a stance which his wife, Meghan Markle, also appears to share.
The Couple Were Left Unhappy That King Charles Didn’t Defend Them Against Trump
King Charles’ visit to the US has come and gone, and while it seems to have been a win for the UK’s economy, Prince Harry and his wife, Meghan Markle, reportedly have some issues with the monarch’s behavior during the trip.
According to reports, Harry in particular couldn’t get past the idea that his father made no moves to defend him during the trip, despite the fact that Trump seemingly “made it his mission to discredit and tear them down,” even days before the royal tour.
Meghan is also said to share the same sentiment as her husband, with the added worry that Trump might have said even more disparaging remarks about them to Charles during the visit.
“For Meghan, it beggars belief that Charles is allowing this bile and slander from Trump go unanswered or defended. They’re just praying it doesn’t spiral out of hand if Trump gets a chance to run them down to Charles one-on-one,” a source told Closer.
Prince Harry And Meghan Share Divided Views On How To React To The Situation
During the visit, Charles appeared chummy with Trump, a connection which the source claimed proved that the monarch “seems to have quite a fondness” for the US commander-in-chief.
The insider also claimed that watching this all happen was tough for Harry, especially given how Trump had in the past threatened their status in the country.
Even more, it hurt that his father seemed to be giving Trump more attention, something further cemented by the fact that the monarch made no move to visit them throughout his stay in the US.
However, he doesn’t intend to react so as not to further upset the already tense situation with his father, but this stance of silence isn’t supported by Meghan.
“Harry is biting his tongue because he knows reacting will only stir up more trouble, but it’s been very difficult, especially because Meghan does not want to give Charles a pass on this,” the source continued.
Prince Harry Believes A Reaction Could Jeopardize His Reconciliation Plans
As to why Meghan reportedly seems hell-bent on Harry reacting, the source claimed it is down to her belief that it “sends the wrong message if they let this go unchallenged.”
She feels it is “exactly the kind of situation where Harry should be standing his ground” and is finding it hard to come to terms with why he has yet to do so.
On Harry’s part, he allegedly believes reacting will only “jeopardize their long-term goal of rebuilding their relationship with his family,” and he would rather keep his eyes on the bigger picture.
“Emotions are running very high, but so far Harry’s managed to keep a lid on everything,” the source added about Harry and Meghan’s alleged disagreement. “He seems determined not to let this derail the fragile progress he’s made, even if it means swallowing his pride and riding out a situation that clearly isn’t sitting well with either of them.”
The Duke Of Sussex Is Doing His Best To Remain Pragmatic
But even while choosing a path of silence, Harry still has fears about his plans for reconciliation.
With no meeting with his father, and the monarch spending so much time with Trump during the visit, there is a belief the president could “torpedo everything” Harry has worked for, which makes the current situation “so delicate right now.”
According to the source, Harry now fears it “could prompt his father to side with William and others – right when they’re making progress and finally rebuilding bridges with key members of the Firm.”
Despite his concerns, the duke is reportedly “doing his best to stay pragmatic.” He is also said to have taken the approach of pointing inquirers to the fact that Charles’ meeting with Trump is simply part of his father’s role as king.
Prince Harry Stunned The Palace With His Claim About Being A Royal
Harry caused a stir in the palace during his recent unannounced trip to Ukraine when he pushed back on claims that he is “not a working royal.”
While speaking to ITV, the duke insisted that he “will always be part of the royal family,” noting that he is only doing the work he believes he was “born to do.”
Harry’s bold statement reportedly stunned many behind the scenes, especially due to the palace’s firm stance against the half-in-half-out deal, which the prince and his wife wanted before eventually fully stepping down as senior royals.
Reacting to the duke’s recent claim, author Sally Bedell Smith told People Magazine, “They are pushing the envelope and making it much more difficult for reconciliation to happen.”

Why Meghan Markle Is ‘Fuming’ Over King Charles’ US Visit — Source
Meghan Markle is reportedly “fuming” over the fact that King Charles has not defended her and Prince Harry from U.S. President Donald Trump. The much-anticipated visit of King Charles and Queen Camilla to the U.S. kicked off in April. Amid this, sources suggest that it must be difficult for the Sussexes to see Charles bonding with someone who had previously taken a jab at their marriage. Sources claim that Harry understands the importance of this trip. However, Markle is “fuming” over the lack of support from Charles regarding Trump’s negative remarks.
Meghan Markle upset over King Charles ‘not defending’ her and Prince Harry from Trump, per source
Meghan Markle is reportedly upset about the fact that King Charles is “not defending” her and Prince Harry from U.S. President Donald Trump. Recently, Charles and Queen Camilla made a four-day visit to the U.S., hosted by Trump.
As reported by Closer Online, the King was photographed laughing with Melania Trump. Moreover, he was seen having a good time with both Melania and Donald. The report suggests that this may have been upsetting for the Sussexes. The reason being, Trump had earlier taken a jibe at Harry, saying he is “whipped.” He also remarked on their marriage, wishing him “luck” in being with Markle.
Sources tell the outlet that Harry and Markle are finding it hard to digest that Charles didn’t defend them against Trump’s negative remarks. The sources allege that Harry understands, albeit “reluctantly,” the position his father is in.
Plus, he is aware that the visit is important to build a strong and “special relationship” between the U.S. and the U.K. However, Markle is reportedly “fuming” over the lack of support from Charles when it comes to Trump and is taking things “personally.” The source said, “In her view, this is exactly the kind of situation where Harry should be standing his ground, not making excuses for his father. Meghan is fuming and saying it sends the wrong message if they let this go unchallenged.”
