Blumberg told KCCI she was finishing her shift at around 8 a.m. when she felt the sudden urge to use the restroom.

“After that, I couldn’t even get off the toilet,” Blumberg told the outlet and KENS 5, adding that she was able to call for help by opening the door.

“I get up, and I’m like, I feel his head,” she continued.

The Johnston-Grimes Fire District arrived just minutes before Blumberg gave birth and was able to assist with the delivery, according to KCCI.

“We are delivering the baby now,” someone said in audio from radio traffic, per the outlet.

A medic told the outlet that they arrived at the scene at 8:29 a.m. and the baby was born at 8:33 a.m.

Blumberg ended up giving birth on the floor of her workplace, according to KENS 5.

She and her son, who she has named Onyx King Easterlie, were then transported to the hospital where they were reported to be healthy and resting, per the outlet.

The little one weighed 6lbs. 8oz and measured 19 inches long.

The now-mom of two said that she had no signs or symptoms of pregnancy with Onyx, unlike her first experience.

“With my first one, I had all the symptoms,” she recalled of her first pregnancy to KCCI. “With this one, I had nothing at all. I was losing weight at work.”

Blumberg went on to explain that any signs she was pregnant only came right at the very end. “The only thing I felt was when my back started hurting from back labor. And when he was descending, I felt him move,” she told KCCI.

Described her baby boy as “perfect,” Blumberg added, “Our FedEx baby.”

“I’ve seen a lot of things in my field, so I don’t get too much surprised anymore,” Nick Pearson, of Johnston-Grimes Fire District said. “I’m just very happy that she was healthy and the baby was healthy.”

PEOPLE has contacted FedEx and the Johnston-Grimes Metropolitan Fire for comment.
