Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift have reportedly put wedding planning on “hold.”
The Kansas City Chiefs tight end and his fiancee got engaged prior to the start of the 2025 NFL season. Kelce and Swift, who have been dating for more than two years, are expected by many to get married in 2026. However, according to a new report, the couple has decided to put their wedding planning “on hold” for now.
“They’re not even halfway through the guest list,” a source told Rob Shuter.
They added, “Right now it’s more about enjoying time together than crunching spreadsheets.”

Kelce has a lot to figure out on his own.
The Chiefs’ 2025 season ended in early January. Kelce is openly considering retirement. However, he wants to give himself some time.
“Travis is still figuring out if he’s playing next year,” the source claimed. “They don’t want to stress over a wedding when there’s so much else going on.”

Kelce might end up retiring, but for now, he’s choosing to just spend time away from football.
The tight end made it clear on his “New Heights” podcast with his brother, Jason, that if Andy Reid decides to retire, that’ll be it for him too.
“I love coach Reid. Coach Reid knows how much I love to play for him, how much I love to be a product of his coaching career.”

Jason joined Monday Night Countdown in September 2024, quickly swapping his relaxed wardrobe and casual denim for well-fitted, high-quality suits.
In the podcast episode, Kylie described seeing social media videos about “swag gap,” a term for couples in which one partner is a sharp dresser, while their significant other is not.
“I feel personally victimized,” Kylie, who married Jason in 2018, said of the term. “I am the one bringing the team down. It’s me. It’s not my husband, he’s the one who’s got the swag.”
This wasn’t always the case, however. “My husband, when we first started dating, disliked suits so badly,” Kylie recalled.
She continued, “Jason would wear V-neck plain t-shirts. It was this same idea of, ‘if I like it, I’ll just buy it in another color.’ That was Jason’s MO. He would just wear the exact same shirt in a different color.”
While it wasn’t the chicest garment, the tees came with one benefit: “It hugged the biceps. It hung off the shoulders nicely,” she said.
Despite the positives of such form-fitting tees, Kylie thoroughly enjoys her partner’s newfound sense of style.
“Now, because he has to sit at the desk on Monday nights and he has to be a little more professional, he’s wearing a suit on a very regular basis,” she said.
