Having a dog, especially a sweet little puppy in your life is one of the greatest blessings. People who have never experienced it cannot truly understand the joy of having this furry creature give their whole heart to their human.
Sometimes, even if a person isn’t looking for a dog, a dog will find them when they least expect it. And, that is a unique kind of happiness and fulfillment.
This is exactly what happened to a young woman from Virginia Beach, Virginia, and several members of her family.
What began as an ordinary family get-together turned into a day they would never forget, as they returned home with the most wonderful surprise.
Their Little Teddy Bear
On November 10, 2024, Amanda Roache decided to spend the day with her mother and her grandparents as they planned to go for a drive and spend time catching up.
Yet, they couldn’t even dream that they would find a poor little puppy right by the side of the road. Amanda and her family did not think for a second but immediately stopped the car in order to help him.
He was in very bad condition — he couldn’t sit up or walk and he was all covered in fleas. Amanda knew they couldn’t just leave him there so she decided to bring him back to the house.
There, she gave him some food and he was eating as if he had never seen food in his life. It was for this reason that she didn’t want to let him eat a lot because she didn’t know how long he hadn’t eaten.
Amanda also gave him a good bath because he was covered in fleas, which helped him greatly.
After he was feeling a bit better, it was up to Amanda to decide what to do with him. It was certainly not in her plan that day to adopt a dog, but it was still important to her that this puppy was safe.
That’s why she decided to bring him to her parents’ home in Virginia Beach, Virginia, and surprise her dad, and that’s exactly when the miracle happened.
It’s an understatement to say that Dad was thrilled when he saw him. He was over the moon. After that, there was no doubt about what Amanda would decide. That day, this puppy became a full-fledged member of their family.
He adapted quickly and everyone loved him so much, including their other two dogs, a Great Pyrenees, and a stray.
He was the family’s new little Teddy bear so they decided to name him Teddy. Teddy’s life, as well as the lives of other family members, was never the same from that day on.

This young lady was convinced that only her acquaintances and friends would see it and react. She couldn’t even dream that it would go viral and attract the attention of millions of people.

This puppy didn’t find Amanda and her family at the wrong time either. Fate brought them together at just the right moment.
