An insider who has known Nicole Kidman for decades has announced a major twist in the A-lister’s divorce from Keith Urban.

The source who has known Kidman for decades on Tuesday said the Aussie A-lister “would get back with him (Keith) in a heartbeat” after she filed for divorce from him in September following 19 years of marriage.
The ex-Hollywood golden couple were in the midst of “getting back together” amid marital difficulties when Keith suddenly decided the pair would go their separate ways for good, added the insider who spoke to Daily Mail.
Nicole reportedly felt “betrayed” by their breakup, even though she was the one to file for divorce, citing “irreconcilable differences”.
The source affirmed Nicole was surprised and believed the pair were working through their problems up until news of their split went public.
It comes after a separate source told the same publication the Babygirl actress and Blue Ain’t Your Colour crooner could reconcile, but any romance between the once-loved-up couple was non-existent.
Keith has reportedly already moved on with a younger woman, rumoured to be his guitarist Maggie Baugh, 25, or singer Kelsea Ballerini, 32.

He has been involved in a series of eyebrow-raising antics amid the speculation, including changing the lyrics of his song to mention Maggie instead of Nicole and pretending to faint at the mention of his ex-wife.
Kidman has put on a brave face with the pair’s daughters, Sunday Rose, 17, and Faith Margaret, 14, as Urban cops criticism from the actress’s fans.

Kidman is said to be preparing for a new start in Portugal with the teens, eyeing properties in the ultra-exclusive CostaTerra Golf and Ocean Club.
She has reportedly viewed homes in the luxurious Comporta region, about an hour south of Lisbon, where neighbours include George and Amal Clooney, Paris Hilton and Princess Eugenie, according to the Daily Mail.
Portuguese outlet SIC Notícias in July reported she submitted official residency paperwork to the country’s Agency for Integration, Migration and Asylum (AIMA) without Urban’s name listed.

Divorce filings obtained by TMZ revealed Kidman sought to be the “primary residential parent” of Sunday Rose and Faith Margaret.
The girls will spend 306 days with Kidman and 59 days with Urban each year under a parenting plan.

Urban, 57, returned to television screens Sunday for the premiere of “The Road,” a reality television show that follows a dozen up-and-coming musicians competing for a chance to open for the musician as he tours the country.
During the series premiere, Urban performed “Straight Line” from his latest album, “High.” The song kicks off Urban’s 12th studio album – which was released in September 2024 – and reflects on the desire to break free from a “soul-sucking routine,” he explained on Instagram last year.

He noted that “‘Straight Line’ is wanting to break out of a soul-sucking routine that you might be stuck in: maybe in a relationship, a job, with creativity, with yourself…whatever it is !! It’s a message of feeling alive again and getting out from under that dark cloud.”
While the episode was filmed before Kidman filed for divorce from the “Somebody Like You” singer in September, Urban discussed feeling “lonely and miserable” while on the road.
“Where do we start? It’s a calling, and you’re going to do it or you’re not going to make it,” Urban said.
