Harry has been left isolated due to the choices he made under the watchful eye of a “domineering” Meghan Markle, it’s been alleged.
Prince Harry is feeling isolated in the US after “verbally annihilating” his family across the pond, according to several royal commentators.
The Duke of Sussex, 40, is said to be finding it difficult to carve out a career path for himself stateside following the releases of several money-making ventures like “Spare” and his Netflix series.
“Harry is in exile — he chose it,” royal expert Richard Fitzwilliams claimed to Fox News.
“It’s lonely, and he will undoubtedly miss his friends and family. There is no sign whatsoever of the rift in the royal family healing. King Charles and the Prince and Princess of Wales have, to put it mildly, other priorities.”

“I think Meghan [Markle] is undoubtedly the dominant person in their relationship,” Fitzwilliams went on. “I don’t doubt he wishes they had managed to arrange a half-in, half-out arrangement [with the royal family], especially as his military links meant so much to him.”
Meanwhile, royal expert and photographer Helena Chard told the outlet that there’s simply no way back into the royal fold for the father of two after he chose to air out his family’s grievances in a tell-all memoir.
“A self-assured, self-titled, angry Prince Harry thought it was completely OK to publicly verbally annihilate his family,” Chard said.
“It is said he was naive and didn’t realise it would upset his family. He didn’t realise that his actions would cause such a fallout with his family and the public.”
The couple has reportedly been left to lick their wounds following the release of a scathing Vanity Fair exposé earlier this month.
The piece, published January 17, delves into the Sussexes’ struggling business ventures, painting a tragic picture of their attempts at maintaining relevance after quitting royal life in 2020.
Numerous former colleagues and associates spoke to the publication for the article, many of whom have slammed Markle’s character.
Among the many claims made in the exposé, one in particular suggested that the duo had been labelled local villains by neighbours.

Another shocking claim suggested that the “Suits” alum’s team floated the idea of a “post-Harry divorce book” to a publisher.
Elsewhere, the mum of two was slammed for her alleged “bully” behaviour by several former colleagues, who have chosen to remain anonymous.
Some claimed they were “undergoing long-term therapy after working with Meghan,” while another described her as a “‘Mean Girls’ teenager.”
One person who worked with Markle, 43, on media projects told the publication that her time with the former actress was “really, really, really awful” and “very painful.”
As a result, Markle has reportedly been left “bruised and upset” and “in a bad place” following the claims, according to royal commentator Kinsey Schofield.
The pair have not responded to claims made in the article.

Prince Harry, Meghan Markle’s plan to ditch the US after Donald Trump’s presidential win
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle reportedly considered ditching the US following Donald Trump’s presidential win.
Speaking about Ellen DeGeneres and her wife Portia de Rossi’s recent move to the UK, a source told InTouch the royal couple losing their close pals was “pretty upsetting”.
The pair grew close to the Duke and Duchess of Sussex after the royals moved to the Montecito neighbourhood following their exit from royal life in 2020, the New York Post reports.
“Ellen and Portia have been absolute rocks for Meghan and Harry from the moment they moved to California,” the source told Intouch.
“They helped them get settled in Montecito and introduced them to so many great people, they’re such a huge part of Meghan and Harry’s circle.”
The insider added that Harry and the former actress “totally understand why they’re leaving; they’ve toyed with the idea themselves since the election,” referring to Donald Trump’s election win over Vice President Kamala Harris..
Last month, Harry and Meghan were rumoured to have snapped up a luxe property in Portugal.
The couple reportedly splurged more than $US4.7 million ($A7.2 million) on a yet-to-be-constructed home at CostaTerra Golf and Ocean Club, a luxury development of 300 properties on the Atlantic Ocean in the small town of Melides, about 130km south of the Portuguese capital, Lisbon.
According to the New York Post, the pair’s rumoured new home was an “emergency escape solution” when Mr Trump moves into the White House.
Back in February, Mr Trump threatened to throw the exiled royal out of the US while speaking at the Conservative Political Action Conference in Maryland.
“I wouldn’t protect him,” Trump said at the time. “He betrayed the Queen. That’s unforgivable. He would be on his own.”
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s big move after kicked out of Frogmore Cottage
Meghan Markle and Prince Harry have reportedly snapped up a new home in Europe.
According to the DailyMail, the royal couple recently bought a house in Portugal, the same country where Harry’s cousin, Princess Eugenie, owns a home with her husband, Jack Brooksbank.
The New York Post reports the Duke and Duchess of Sussex have not had a residence of any kind across the pond since 2023, when they were asked to officially “vacate” Frogmore Cottage, the UK home on the grounds of Windsor Castle the pair moved into after getting married in 2018.
The couple, who recently celebrated their six-year wedding anniversary, own a property in the CostaTerra Golf and Ocean Club, a luxury development of 300 properties on the Atlantic Ocean in the small town of Melides, about 130km south of the Portuguese capital, Lisbon.
Brooksbank, 38, works for CostaTerra in their marketing and sales department.
CostaTerra is a part of a company founded by Mike Meldman, who along with George Clooney invested in the tequila company, Casamigos. Brooksbank was previously a brand ambassador for Casamigos.
Brooksbank and Eugenie, 34, divide their time between London and Portugal along with their two sons, three-year-old August, and sixteen-month-old Ernest.
Although it is not known exactly where Harry and Meghan’s new Portuguese property is located in the country, the duo are understood to have made a “mega-secret” trip to visit Eugenie and Jack at their property in the exclusive CostaTerra Golf and Ocean Club in 2023..
The purchase of a Portugal home may allow the pair to acquire a “Golden Visa,” DailyMail suggests, which could grant them “visa-free access to the European Union’s Schengen area.”
The Sussexes have been to Portugal before. Last year, they reportedly spent a “romantic three-night break” in the country after attending Prince Harry’s Invictus Games in Dusseldorf, Germany.
Harry and Meghan were rumoured to have stayed at CostaTerra with Eugenie and Brooksbank, who have also visited the couple at their $US14 million ($A20.9 million) home in Montecito, California.
The pair’s visit to CostaTerra was seemingly confirmed when Jose Santos, head of the Alentejo Tourism Board, said they had enjoyed a “short stay.”
The couple’s prior European home, Frogmore Cottage, was given to them by Queen Elizabeth II as a wedding present.
The Sussexes renovated Frogmore to the tune of $US3 million ($A4.4 million), a sum at first paid for by the British taxpayer through the Sovereign Grant and later reimbursed by the royals.
Harry and Meghan lived at Frogmore only briefly, having left it behind when they stepped down from their roles as senior working members of the royal family in 2020.
Eugenie and Brooksbank then took over the lease, so to speak, and lived there for a period of time.
Harry and Meghan are reportedly quite close with Eugenie and Brooksbank, who were the only members of the royal family to be featured in their Netflix docuseries.
Harry and Meghan’s ouster from Frogmore occurred shortly after the prince released his memoir “Spare,” which spared neither Charles, Queen Camilla, Prince William nor Kate Middleton from its rehashings of royal drama.
The home was then offered to Princess Eugenie’s father, Prince Andrew, who reportedly turned it down because it was not grand enough for him.

Real reason Prince Harry, Meghan Markle were kicked out of Frogmore Cottage
Saucy details have emerged of why Prince Harry and Meghan Markle were forced to give up their Royal home.
According to Omid Scobie’s book “Endgame”, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex were booted out of Frogmore Cottage in Home Park in Windsor “as they were no longer working royals or based in Britain, they needed to give up the keys to their royal rental”.
An eviction notice was delivered to the couple via Sir Michael John Stevens, Buckingham Palace’s the Keeper of the Privy Purse, the New York Post reports.
The Invictus Games founder allegedly angrily called up his father King Charles soon after and shot back: “You don’t want to see your grandchildren anymore?”
The pair are parents to son Archie, 5, and daughter Lilibet, 3.
Charles began proceedings to kick the Sussexes out of Frogmore Cottage just one day after Harry’s tell-all memoir “Spare” hit shelves.
According to the Daily Mail, in the days leading up to the publication of the bombshell book in January 2023, the Prince gave interviews with ITV and CBS.
Mr Scobie’s book “Endgame” claimed the Palace demanded to see the full footage of the CBS interview “before making any comments”.
The show refused to and insisted it was “something we never do”.
Instead of releasing a public comment, “King Charles made his feelings clear in private, despite not having read a page of the book”.
Harry and Markle moved to Montecito, California in 2020 and had used Frogmore as their UK residence when they would return on visits to Britain.
Frogmore was gifted to the couple by the late Elizabeth Queen when they got married in 2018.
It underwent significant renovations – costing taxpayers a reported £2.4 million ($A4.29 million) – before they eventually moved in.
Will Prince Harry be deported from Trump’s America?
A rightwing thinktank has been targeting the royal ever since he confessed to taking drugs – and is demanding his immigration forms be released
hile he may not be quite as popular as he was, Prince Harry still has a lot of fans in the US. Unfortunately, Donald Trump is not one of them: the president has never had anything nice to say about the Duke of Sussex and once claimed that the Biden administration was “too gracious” to the British immigrant. Which might not be a big deal were it not for the fact that some Trumpers have long been champing at the bit to get Harry deported.
The Heritage Foundation, a rightwing thinktank famous for masterminding Project 2025, a roadmap for Trump’s second term, has been obsessed with Harry’s immigration status ever since he released his memoir Spare. This isn’t because they thought it was a crime against literature (certainly debatable) but because Harry talked about using illegal drugs. And anyone who has ever tried to get a US visa knows that admitting to taking illegal drugs is a really great way to ensure you never get into the country. So the question is: did Prince Harry lie on his immigration forms or was he granted special treatment? The Heritage Foundation has been engaged in a long legal battle to try to get Harry’s visa application made public in order to answer that question.
I’m hardly a fan of the Heritage Foundation, but I do think it’s in the public’s interest to know these details. Last year, a judge disagreed. Now that there’s a new regime in Washington, however, that might change. It certainly doesn’t help Harry that Trump’s secretary of the Department of Homeland Security, Kristi Noem, is as attention-hungry and unpredictable as the president. Noem, who famously shot her own dog, has been making headlines by showing up at Trump’s deportation raids glammed up and photoshoot-ready in a bulletproof vest and an Immigration and Customs Enforcement baseball hat. She has also done recent media appearances in cowgirl gear and wearing a full border patrol uniform, earning her the nickname “Cosplay Kristi”. I wouldn’t put it past Noem to rock up to Harry’s Montecito mansion on horseback, dressed as George Washington, to haul him off and stick him in detention. But at least that would give him material for a new memoir.
