Cruise and Kidman share two kids, Isabella ‘Bella’ Cruise and Connor Cruise, who they adopted together. The two adopted Bella in 1992 and Connor three years later. And those appearances make it clear that, even if his relationship with Suri has been fractured, his relationships with Bella and Connor are apparently good.

In December 2024, former NFL player Derrick Brooks shared a photograph on Instagram showing Cruise posing alongside Bella and Connor. He was also photographed at a Los Angeles Dodgers baseball game with Connor a few years before. Bella has been photographed less, but when she has, she’s been with Cruise.

But what’s the difference between the two and Suri? Well, unlike Suri, both Bella and Connor are practicing Scientologists and have remained involved with the Church, which seems to be the reason they have a close relationship with their father and no relationship with their mother, Nicole Kidman.

Kidman went on to marry Keith Urban, whom she’s now divorced, and has two other kids, Sunday Rose and Faith Margaret. She is not involved in Scientology. Neither is Katie Holmes or her daughter Suri.

Suri was born in 2006 to Cruise and Holmes. In 2012, Holmes filed for divorce and relocated to New York with her daughter. Cruise and his daughter have not been seen in public together since that year. Suri is now 20.

Reports of their estrangement seem to always tie back to the Church of Scientology.

Ironically, Cruise has continued to act like everything is fine. Last year, while promoting Mission: Impossible – The Final Reckoning, Cruise was asked by E! News what his ideal Father’s Day looked like. “You know… Just having fun, man. Making movies, big adventures, having a great time,” he said.

No mention of any of his kids.

Suri is now studying musical theatre at Carnegie Mellon University in Pennsylvania. Recent reports indicate that she had legally adopted the name Suri Noelle as she registered to vote in Pennsylvania under that name.

Connor, meanwhile, reportedly works as a DJ and is based in Florida. Bella is reportedly based in London, where she works as an artist and owns her own company. She’s married to an IT consultant by the name of Max Parker.

When Bella got married in 2015, there was speculation that she was estranged from her mother and father because neither attended the wedding. She, however, told the Daily Mail in 2016, “Of course [we talk], they’re my parents. Anyone who says otherwise is full of shit.”
