Brad Pitt and his girlfriend Ines de Ramon have sparked breakup rumors after an awkward moment at the world premiere of the blockbuster F1 in New York on June 16.
A video circulating on social media captured the jewelry designer leaning in to give Pitt a quick kiss on the red carpet—only for the 60-year-old actor to noticeably dodge the affectionate gesture and immediately turn to greet another woman approaching the couple.
Red Carpet Distance Raises Eyebrows
This rare red carpet appearance of the couple raised immediate speculation about the state of their relationship. According to RadarOnline.com, Pitt’s behavior triggered red flags for body language experts, who believe the pair may be “out of sync,” pointing to possible deeper issues in their relationship.
Body language analyst Judi James commented: “Brad’s recent appearances have shown him experimenting with questionable fashion choices, perhaps as an effort to bridge the age gap and appear bolder or more compatible with his younger partner.”
But James suggested that the apparent discomfort may not stem solely from their 27-year age difference.
“Their lack of synchronicity—evident in their physical cues—could indicate that their mindsets and personal interests simply don’t align,” James observed. “There’s a striking contrast in their body language, which may reflect deeper incompatibilities.”
Fans React to Viral Clip
Social media users were quick to react to the viral clip. “Once again, Brad dodges a kiss from Ines. I could never do that,” wrote one user on X.
The same user pointed out that in a second video, Pitt did not include Ines de Ramon in the cast photo at the F1 premiere, further fueling speculation.
Another commenter added, “Brad doesn’t even want to kiss her. For the third time now, he brushes her off like she doesn’t belong to him. It’s almost comical.”
Others questioned the authenticity of the couple’s red carpet appearance, with one user calling it a “staged moment.”
A Relationship Once Described as “Happy”
Brad Pitt and Ines de Ramon first went public with their relationship in late 2022. Their appearance together in March 2025—following Pitt’s finalized divorce from Angelina Jolie in December 2024—had been perceived as a fresh new chapter. At the time, a source told People magazine that Pitt was “happy” with de Ramon.
Now, with a string of seemingly detached public moments, fans and analysts alike are left wondering whether that happiness is beginning to fade.
Brad Pitt ready to ‘dump America’ to rebuild life with Ines as relationship with kids gets strained
Struggling with his divorce and relationship with his children, Brad Pitt is reportedly considering leaving Hollywood for Europe, encouraged by George Clooney.
Brad Pitt’s recent looks strongly hint at a complete wardrobe overhaul for the actor
Brad Pitt ‘dumping his life in America’
Pitt, who is currently dating Ines De Ramon, a jewellery executive much younger than him, recently made their relationship red carpet official at the Venice Film Festival. Rumours suggest the actor might be ready to pop the question at any time. According to Life & Style, a source revealed that Pitt is now looking to leave Hollywood, as none of his kids want anything to do with him. They were reportedly the only reason he had stayed there.
“Brad has always considered L.A. home for so long, it’s where his production company is based and so much of his real estate, plus he’s always felt like it was the best place to connect with his kids and give them some stability,” the insider informed the outlet. “But sadly, he’s rarely able to see them these days, which is heartbreaking for him,” they added.
Brad Pitt felt ‘blindsided’ after kids dropped his name
There have been multiple reports about Pitt being left ‘heartbroken’ and ‘extremely blindsided’ after his children with Angelina Jolie began dropping his last name in favour of their mother’s surname amid their nasty divorce and legal battles. The real setback came when his biological child with Jolie, Shiloh decided to change her surname when she turned 18 this year. Shiloh‘s decision was particularly painful for Pitt, who had been thrilled about her birth and had always hoped for a daughter.
This change was followed by Vivienne, his other biological child. ‘He’s absolutely heartbroken. Of all his children, he was always closest to Shiloh and didn’t realize their relationship had changed,’ a source said at the time. According to a second source, Brad reportedly feels “Angie has slowly but surely turned their children against him.”

Brad Pitt ‘haunted by memories’
A source revealed that Brad Pitt, heartbroken by the distance between him and his children, sold the home where he raised them. The good times he had there were too hard to forget, and he felt a need for a change of scenery. The insider shared, “He’s still haunted by being so close to them and yet so far. He’s now saying a change of scenery might be what his mind needs, at least until they start wanting to spend time with him again.”
New life in Europe awaits
At the same time, George Clooney, who’s a really good friend of Pitt, has been pushing him to think about moving to Europe. Clooney is super excited about all the good things about living there all the time and has managed to get Pitt on board with the idea of starting a movie production company from abroad.
With few remaining ties to Los Angeles, Brad is now turning his attention to new opportunities. “He is reportedly hoping to reinvigorate himself with his current partner, Ines, and is said to be on the verge of proposing and settling down with her.”
“Brad loves France and Italy and has spent a lot of time in the U.K. as well, so the whole idea of dumping his life in America for a fresh start is beyond appealing.”
Brad Pitt Is Embracing ‘A Quiet Life’ After Settling His Divorce, Beating His Demons and Finding Love (Exclusive)
A funny thing happened to Brad Pitt while making his new movie, F1 — the 61-year-old Hollywood star fell in love with acting again. “Man, I’ve been doing this for a while and was wondering: Do I have more stories to tell? Do I have anything to add to this? Is there still any excitement I can find from this?” he said during a recent GQ interview, noting that playing car racing vet Sonny Hayes in the action flick (in theaters June 27) and getting to drive modified vehicles on real F1 tracks at 180 mph “reinvigorated the whole thing” for him. Says a source close to Pitt: “It was a really exciting environment for Brad.”
F1 — which cost more than $200 million and took three years to make — marks a return to form for Pitt, who built his career on blockbusters like World War Z and Troy. He has a slew of new projects in the works, including the sequel to 2019’s Once Upon a Time… in Hollywood (for which he won an Oscar) and a film and docuseries about motorcycle racing with Channing Tatum. He’s riding high personally, too: In late 2024, after a bitter eight-year battle, he and ex-wife Angelina Jolie finalized their divorce, and he and his girlfriend of over two years, jewelry designer Ines de Ramon, 35, are going strong. “Brad’s in a good place,” says the Pitt source.
It took some work to get there. Pitt revealed in 2017 that he’d gotten sober and started therapy. “He’s done a lot of therapy over the years,” says a second Pitt source. Work has been a stabilizing force. (His production company, Plan B, keeps him busy behind the scenes, and he’s also launching a new linen line this month via his God’s True Cashmere luxury brand, which he cofounded with holistic healer Sat Hari). In his GQ interview, he revealed some hard-earned wisdom about tuning out the noise and focusing on what matters. “My life is fairly contained,” he said. “It feels pretty warm and secure with my friends, with my loves, with my fam, with my knowledge of who I am.”
All signs point to it being the summer of Pitt. (Early reviews of F1 predict a massive box office success.) “Brad knows F1 will be a hit,” the second source tells Us Weekly. “It’s thrilling for him.”
And yet, the shadow of a dark cloud hovers in the distance. Five of the six kids he shares with Jolie (Maddox, 23, Pax, 21, Zahara, 20, Shiloh, 19, and 16-year-old twins Vivienne and Knox) have publicly distanced themselves from him (Shiloh legally dropped his name on her 18th birthday; Zahara and Vivienne also appear to go by “Jolie” only. In 2020, Pax shared a since-deleted Instagram post calling Pitt a “world-class a**hole” and Maddox dodged questions about mending his relationship with Pitt in 2019).

The estrangements occurred amid Pitt’s brutal legal tug-of-war with Jolie, 50, over custody issues and their French winery, Château Miraval (the fight over the $164 million property continues in a separate lawsuit; a trial is expected to begin next year.) In court documents filed in 2022, Jolie alleged that a drunken Pitt assaulted and verbally abused her and two of their children during a trip aboard a private plane in 2016. (Pitt denied the allegations and was cleared of any wrongdoing by the FBI.)
Still, the world roots for him. Despite some detractors — in 2024, Slate ran an article called “Why We Can’t Quit Brad Pitt,” in which his enduring appeal was questioned given Jolie’s abuse accusations and the fact that he ditched first wife Jennifer Aniston for Jolie in 2005 — he has not been canceled. Fans clamor for him, and costars rave about him. (“Brad’s always been someone everyone has loved to work with,” says the first source.)

Mark Borkowski, founder of Borkowski PR, tells Us Pitt’s Greek God looks do a lot of heavy lifting (“When you’re that genetically gifted, the scandal has to work twice as hard to stick,” he says), adding that the public forgives Pitt “because he never comes across as smug and seems vaguely apologetic for being Brad.” Indeed, Pitt took accountability for some of his behavior in a 2017 GQ story, saying he’d been “looking at my weaknesses and failures and owning my side of the street.” Says the first source: “The public has seen he’s someone who’s been able to be self-aware and self-reflective. Years ago, he acknowledged his mistakes and he’s worked to improve them.”
By and large, Pitt has kept his head down, only addressing Jolie’s allegations through his lawyers. “In the modern fame game, where celebrities rush to share their trauma in an Instagram carousel or recount their healing journey via podcast, Brad did the one thing no one expects anymore,” notes Borkowski. “He kept quiet.” Evan Nierman, founder and CEO of PR firm Red Banyan, agrees it was a smart tactic. “That silence gave him control,” says Nierman. “Instead of feeding the headlines, he let them run their course while he focused on work.”
Nierman adds that Pitt has mastered the art of being visible without being available. “By keeping his personal life offline and out of reach, he’s created mystery during a time when everyone else is overexposed. The less he chases attention, the more magnetic he becomes. Brad knows exactly how he’s seen. You don’t stay at the top of Hollywood for this long without understanding the game. Instead of forcing the story, he stays in control by letting it unfold on his terms, and that’s exactly what keeps people intrigued.”

Maintaining a divide between his public persona and personal life has served him well. “Brad has always had a good balance between being in the spotlight and having a private life,” says the first source. The second source tells Us Pitt spends his downtime sculpting and listening to music and has “embraced” a quieter lifestyle in recent years. “He likes a slower [pace] now,” explains the source, adding that the actor surrounds himself with “a tight circle” of longtime friends.
The second source says that those close to the actor are aware of how difficult the estrangement from his kids has been. “They know about the deep emotional weight he carries, particularly about his family,” explains the source, noting that Pitt “has made several efforts to reconnect with his kids.” He sees the twins “periodically,” adds the source, “but the rest of the relationships are strained. It’s caused him a lot of heartbreak.” Still, “He’s known to process things quietly and privately.”
His romance with de Ramon brings stability and calm. (Us previously reported that de Ramon moved into Pitt’s Los Feliz house in early 2024; he told GQ their public debut at the 2024 British Grand Prix wasn’t “calculated,” adding, “Life just evolves. Relationships evolve.”) The second source says Pitt is “cautious” about getting married again after his messy, drawn-out divorce from Jolie. However, “he has shown his commitment to Ines,” stresses the source. “She is very understanding, and [they] are on the same page. For now, they value companionship and a relationship without pressure.”
He’s celebrating his wins where he can. “Brad’s looking forward to doing publicity for F1 because he loves the film and [enjoys] talking about it,” says the first source. “He’s focused on the positives in his life.”
Is Brad Pitt Having a Midlife Crisis?
Brad Pitt breaks silence on Angelina Jolie divorce settlement
After years of keeping matters related to his divorce from Angelina Jolie mostly confined to the courtroom, Brad Pitt is speaking out about the drawn-out legal matter.
On May 28, GQ published a feature story on Pitt’s latest film, “F1,” and asked him about his December divorce settlement with Jolie following an eight-year battle in court. And Pitt had a surprisingly toned-down response to the question about whether the finalized matter brought any “relief.”
“No, I don’t think it was that major of a thing,” Pitt told the magazine. “Just something coming to fruition. Legally.”
He appeared to have a more impassioned answer to an ensuing question about whether his first public outing with partner Ines de Ramon at the 2024 British Grand Prix in July was a deliberate decision.

“No, dude, it’s not that calculated,” Pitt told GQ. “If you’re living — oh my God, how exhausting would that be? If you’re living with making those kinds of calculations? No, life just evolves. Relationships evolve.”
On living in the limelight, Pitt said, “It’s been an annoyance I’ve had to always deal with in different degrees, large and small, as I do the things I really want to do. … My life is fairly contained. It feels pretty warm and secure with my friends, with my loves, with my fam, with my knowledge of who I am.”
The GQ cover story also spoke with director Joseph Kosinski and co-stars Damson Idris and Lewis Hamilton (also a producer) about the making of what the magazine called “the greatest racing movie of all time,” which releases June 27.
Filming the action movie — which included racing in front of real live F1 crowds around the world — reinforced the sense that he could still find excitement in the moviemaking business: “It just reinvigorated the whole thing again for me,” Pitt said.
Amid Brad and Angelina’s divorce, children distanced themselves from Pitt’s name
Jolie filed for divorce from Pitt in September 2016, more than a decade after they met on the set of “Mr. and Mrs. Smith.” Upon its finalization, Jolie’s lawyer, James Simon, told USA TODAY in a statement that “Frankly, Angelina is exhausted, but she is relieved this one part is over.”
“She and the children left all of the properties they had shared with Mr. Pitt, and since that time she has focused on finding peace and healing for their family. This is just one part of a long ongoing process that started eight years ago,” the Dec. 31 statement read.
Pitt, 61, and Jolie, 49, share six children: Maddox, 23; Pax, 21; Zahara, 20; Shiloh, 19; and 18-year-old twins Vivienne and Knox.
In May 2024, on her 18th birthday, Shiloh dropped her hyphenated last name and petitioned for a legal name change to Shiloh Nouvel Jolie, which was approved nearly three months later. People also reported that month that Vivienne dropped “Pitt” from her name in the Playbill credit for the buzzy Broadway musical “The Outsiders,” which her mom produced.
Aside from the divorce, Pitt and Angelina Jolie had also previously been engaged in an ongoing legal battle over the finances of their winery, Château Miraval, as well as custody over their children.
