Patrick Schwarzenegger, the 31-year-old actor and model, recently turned heads with a sleek and confident red carpet appearance that had everyone talking. As the son of Hollywood icon Arnold Schwarzenegger, Patrick has always attracted attention—but this time, it wasn’t just the famous last name that stole the spotlight. Social media quickly lit up with reactions, and fans across the board seemed to say the same thing.

Patrick Schwarzenegger made a striking appearance at the 2025 Cannes Film Festival, captivating fans and media alike. The 31-year-old actor, known for his role in The White Lotus, graced the red carpet in a tailored tuxedo, exuding confidence and charm reminiscent of his father, Arnold Schwarzenegger.

Social media buzzed with admiration as fans highlighted Patrick’s resemblance to his father. Comments such as “good genes” flooded platforms. One fan noted, “He has his dad’s eyes for sure,” while another exclaimed, “He’s a bomb.”

Patrick’s presence at Cannes wasn’t limited to the red carpet. He attended several high-profile events, including the Chopard Universe Dinner, where he mingled with other celebrities. Patrick Schwarzenegger’s fiancée, Abby Champion, accompanied him, and the couple was seen enjoying the festivities together.
Earlier this year, Arnold proudly shared a heartfelt photo with his son, capturing a touching father-son moment. The post quickly drew attention, not just for the strong bond on display, but because commenters couldn’t help but notice one striking detail they all seemed to agree on. One person wrote, “He’s the best looking person in your family!” Another one noted, “Looks like his father when he was his age but 20 kg less.”

The actor’s appearance at Cannes comes amid a busy year, with his performance in The White Lotus receiving critical acclaim. Patrick’s growing prominence in Hollywood suggests he’s carving out his own path while still embracing the legacy of his iconic father.

Arnold Schwarzenegger may be best known as the Terminator, but it was a very different movie that unexpectedly gave him his biggest paycheck.
On the Monday, June 23, episode of Watch What Happens Live, the actor, 77, revealed that his 1988 movie Twins was the most financially successful for him.
“We went all the way to the bank with that one,” Schwarzenegger said.
In Twins, Schwarzenegger and Danny DeVito play genetically engineered twins who are separated at birth and reunited in adulthood.
“It was Twins because we had gotten no money, no salary,” Schwarzenegger explained, before WWHL host Andy Cohen added, “You got a piece of the backend!’
Schwarzenegger continued, “Exactly. And it was was fantastic.”

Schwarzenegger also revealed that Eddie Murphy was in talks to play another brother in the movie’s sequel, but the film never panned out.
“The sequel would have been called Triplets, and it was not done because the director, Ivan Reitman, passed away just before we wanted to start shooting the movie,” Schwarzenegger explained.
The actor recently reunited with DeVito and former U.K Prime Minister Tony Blair in a photo shared to Instagram.
“I love bringing old friends together!” the former California governor wrote in his caption. “It was fantastic to see my dear friend Tony Blair and introduce him to my brother, @dannydevito. I can’t wait to talk about terminating pollution together in Vienna at the @schwarzeneggerclimate summit!”
Though Triplets never got developed, DeVito teased another collaboration with Schwarzenegger in 2024.
“We’re working on something, a project that we’re going to do together, another movie,” the actor, 80, told CNN. “Arnold and I are good buddies. We met way before Twins, years ago.”
DeVito joked, “We missed Twins 2, because he became governor — which, he should have done Twins 2 instead of becoming governor.”
Schwarzenegger took a break from acting to serve as the governor of California from 2003 to 2011.
On WWHL, Schwarzenegger also revealed which of the six Terminator movies is his least favorite.
“I would say the worst is probably the number four, because that was done during the time I was governor and I was not in it,” Schwarzenegger said, referencing 2009’s Terminator Salvation, starring Christian Bale.
He quipped, “How do you do a Terminator movie without me being in the Terminator movie? Doesn’t make any sense.”
Arnold Schwarzenegger is ‘sorry’ his son’s relationship with Miley Cyrus ‘didn’t work out’
Having your son date Miley Cyrus may have been a problem in 2013, but Arnold Schwarzenegger says he was more than happy when Miley dated his son the following year.
While appearing on Bravo’s Watch What Happens Live on Monday, Arnold was asked, “What was the best and worst part of having Miley Cyrus date your son Patrick?” The two were in a relationship in 2014, when Patrick Schwarzenegger was a student at the University of Southern California; they split in 2015.
“The best was that she’s a wonderful, wonderful girl and a human being, and very, very talented,” said the actor and former California governor.
“She came up to Sun Valley when we were skiing up there, and she was just a wonderful house guest and everything like that. We just all loved her,” he added.
“There is no worst part,” Arnold continued. “She was just a really good, good person and fun to hang out with. I’m sorry it didn’t work out.”
He was quick to note, though, that Patrick is now engaged and will get married in September.
Miley, who’s now dating musician Maxx Morando, crossed paths with the White Lotus star at the Met Gala in May. She also seemingly paid tribute to Arnold in her film for her album Something Beautiful: During the sequence set to the song “Walk of Fame,” she’s seen rolling around on the 77-year-old icon’s star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
