The specialist revealed that Blaze was completely blind in his right eye and required immediate surgery to save any remaining vision in his left eye.

This revelation was a hard pill to swallow. It wasn’t the pleasant surprise they had hoped for, but Robin and her boyfriend were unwavering in their commitment to Blaze. They resolved to do whatever it took to ensure Blaze’s health and happiness.

“About two weeks post-surgery, I was on a walk with Blaze, and he just started to walk into everything. I rushed him back to the ophthalmologist only to find that the surgery was not successful, and Blaze was now also blind in his left eye,” Robin recalled. The realization that Blaze was now completely blind was a heartbreaking moment, but it was also a turning point in their journey together.
