Quintuplets will be celebrating their first Christmas at home after spending months in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) after their birth.

Theresa Troia welcomed her five children — Kyla, Joseph, Jaxon, Viviana and Isabella — in June, when they were just over 28 weeks old, according to Good Morning America.

Now, the last quintuplet was discharged from the NICU at HCA Healthcare’s Las Palmas Del Sol Healthcare facility in Texas last month, just in time for the winter holiday season, the outlet reported.

“It feels incredible. I truly don’t have words … like, my home and my heart are finally complete,” Troia, 36, told GMA.

According to Toria, she is feeling extra thankful this holiday season, with all of her children under the same roof.

“Having all five here together after everything we went through in the [neonatal intensive care unit] is something I still wake up grateful for every day,” she told GMA.

The mom, who works as a regional nurse consultant for long-term care and skilled nursing facilities, continued, “Last Christmas, I was carrying them and just praying they would all make it here safely. Now, I get to celebrate with five healthy babies in my arms.”

“Being a first-time mom, and to quintuplets, makes every holiday moment feel bigger. Every little thing means so much more,” added Toria.

Toria told PEOPLE in August that her life “completely changed” the moment her quintuplets arrived months prior.

“There have been moments of celebration and moments of fear, but every single one has brought us closer,” she explained. “It’s taught me patience, faith, and how powerful love really is.”

Toria is a quadruplet herself and has three brothers: Joseph Troia, Matthew Troia and Thomas Troia, per GMA.

She told the outlet that holiday traditions she had growing up are ones she plans to pass down to her five kids. “Christmas Eve celebration was big for me growing up so I want to do the same,” Troia said. “I really want our first Christmas to feel calm, cozy and centered around us finally being together.”

Added the proud mother: “This holiday is about slowing down, soaking them in, and appreciating how far we’ve come as a little family of six … it’s about the five tiny miracles I get to hold in my arms.”
