Jennifer Lopez is single and ready to mingle.

A source exclusively tells Page Six that the “Hustlers” star is “ready” to start dating again just two months after settling her divorce from ex-husband Ben Affleck.

“Jennifer is ready to put herself out there again and she hasn’t given up on finding love,” the insider shared.

Jennifer Lopez has no negative feelings about recent photos of Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner sharing a hug at their son Samuel’s birthday party.

After photos of Affleck and Garner, both 52, surfaced showing the Accountant 2actor wrapping his arms around her, a source tells PEOPLE that Lopez — who finalized her divorce from Affleck in January after two years of marriage — “isn’t bothered” by the pictures “at all.”

“Jennifer Garner knows what it is and knows what it is not. And people are reading into it in a way to create drama where there is none,” the source says.

According to the source, Lopez, 55, “doesn’t feel betrayed,” adding, “I think the two Jens are great admirers of the other, and I think they’re all co-parenting.”

“There is no animosity. They are friendly,” the source says, adding, “We’re always pitting women against women. In this case, it’s just not the truth.”

Garner and Affleck came together to celebrate their youngest child’s 13th birthday at a paintball party for Samuel on March 2, where they were seen sharing a laugh and hug.

“They have been on good terms for a while now and seem to enjoy chatting and hanging out,” one insider told PEOPLE of the former couple March 5. “Most of the time, the kids are around too.”

That insider added that Affleck “usually acts happy around” Garner, who is currently dating John Miller, and said, “She doesn’t seem to mind. She seems to enjoy spending time with Ben,” with whom she shares three kids: Samuel, Violet, 19, and Seraphina, 16.

Lopez has been busy with both work and family life. She premiered her movie musical Kiss of the Spider Woman at the 2025 Sundance Film Festival in January, getting visibly emotional as the film received a standing ovation.

“I’ve been waiting for this moment my whole life,” Lopez said during a post-screening discussion, when the Q&A moderator suggested she was “made for this movie.”

The following month, the actress and singer celebrated her twins Max and Emme’s 17th birthday with a sweet video tribute on Instagram.

Ben Affleck’s ex wives Jennifer Lopez and Jennifer Garner remain on great terms with each other, a source tells PEOPLE.

Lopez, 55 — whose divorce from Affleck, her husband of two years, was finalized in January — and Garner, 52, are “friends” who check in with each other, says the source.

“Jennifer Garner reaches out to Jennifer Lopez about her kids. Jennifer Lopez reaches out to Jennifer Garner about her kids. They’re friends,” the source says. “They have really found a great female support system and communicate.”

Garner was married to Affleck, 52, from 2005 to 2015; the pair share children Violet, 19, Seraphina, 16, and Samuel, 13. Meanwhile, Lopez shares her twins  Max and Emme, who turned 17 in February, with ex-husband Marc Anthony. Lopez and Affleck initially began dating in 2002 and became engaged, but split in 2004. They reunited in 2021.

“We’re always pitting women against women. In this case, it’s just not the truth,” the source adds of Lopez and Garner’s relationship.

A different source recently told PEOPLE that Affleck and Garner “have been on good terms for a while now and seem to enjoy chatting and hanging out” when they’re with the kids.

 

The former couple were notably seen sharing a laugh at Samuel’s 13th birthday party on March 2, and the source said Affleck has appeared “extra giddy lately, though, and much more affectionate” while spending time with Garner.

Affleck and Lopez settled their divorce on Jan. 6 and were declared legally single on Feb. 21, according to court documents obtained by PEOPLE at that time. Both have remained busy with work; Lopez premiered her upcoming movie Kiss of the Spider Woman at the Sundance Film Festival in January, while Affleck just premiered his new film The Accountant 2 at SXSW on March 8.

Additionally, the first source tells PEOPLE that Lopez “isn’t bothered” by the recent photos of Garner and Affleck sharing a hug at Samuel’s birthday party “at all.”

“People are reading into it in a way to create drama where there is none,” the source says.

Jennifer Lopez is “focused on work” and her kids following her divorce from Ben Affleck, a source tells PEOPLE

Jennifer Lopez is content and single as she moves on from her divorce from Ben Affleck.

“She’s focused on work and is not dating,” a source tells PEOPLE exclusively. “She’s happy as it is.”

Lopez, 55, filed for divorce from Affleck, 52, on Aug. 20, the date of their second wedding anniversary. The former couple, who ended an engagement in 2004 and rekindled their romance in 2021, finalized their divorce on Jan. 6 and were officially declared single on Feb. 21.

 

“Life goes on and if anyone can move forward and be positive about it, it’s Jennifer. She sees everything as a lesson,” the source continues. “She was hurt by their sudden separation and Ben’s unwillingness to not work on their marriage. She really wanted it to work out.”

In her divorce filing, Lopez listed April 26, 2024 as the date of the couple’s separation. Coming up on a year since the split, the Atlas star is doing well, adds the source. “She’s been focused on finding a new home for her and the kids.”

The star, who shares twins Max and Emme, 17, with ex-husband Marc Anthony, recently purchased a home near Los Angeles for about $18 million.

 

Affleck, meanwhile, purchased his own $20.5 million house in Los Angeles last July, where he’s spending time with kids Violet Anne, 19, Seraphina Rose, 16, and Samuel, 12, who he shares with ex-wife Jennifer Garner.

The Oscar winner has recently been busy promoting his sequel The Accountant 2 (in theaters April 25). Among his and Matt Damon’s projects as producers is musical Kiss of the Spider Woman, which stars fellow producer Lopez in the titular role and will be released in the fall. She is also working on the Netflix rom-com Office Romance.

 

In a wide-ranging cover interview for the April issue of GQ, Affleck addressed his breakup with Lopez, saying he has “nothing but respect” for her as a person. The pop star has “handled celebrity more adeptly and more adroitly than I have,” he added, whereas his “temperament is to be a little bit more reserved and private than hers… You don’t always have the same attitude towards these things.”

Ben Affleck has said his piece on his divorce with ex-wife Jennifer Lopez.

After the actor broke his silence on the breakup in a recent GQ interview, a source tells PEOPLE, “Ben’s doing well. The GQ story was kind of all about clearing the air one last time.”

“He’s done talking about JLo,” adds the source. “He’s not proud that their marriage didn’t work out. He didn’t want to hurt her. But now he wants to just focus on his kids and work.”

Affleck, 52, told GQ that “there’s no scandal, no soap opera, no intrigue” behind his split from Lopez, 55, whom he was married to from July 2022 until she filed for divorce in August 2024. (They finalized the divorce in January and were officially declared single Feb. 21.)

The source tells PEOPLE that Affleck remains “very passionate about work and excited about upcoming projects.”

His next movie as an actor, The Accountant 2, is in theaters April 25, marking Affleck’s first appearance on the big screen since 2023, when he appeared in his own movie Air and portrayed Batman for the final time in The Flash. “He thrives when he’s busy,” the source adds.

Affleck said in the GQ interview that his “life is actually pretty drama free” and that he holds “nothing but respect” for Lopez.

“I guess there’s a tendency to look at breakups and want to identify root causes or something,” he said. “But honestly, like I said, the truth is much more quotidian than probably people would believe or would be interesting.”

As always, Affleck has a number of movies in development as a producer, director, actor and writer, including his and Matt Damon’s forthcoming RIP. On March 25, Deadline reported that Kiss of the Spider Woman, a movie musical that Damon and Affleck produced and Lopez stars in, expects to release in the fall after premiering at the 2025 Sundance Film Festival.
