Tuesday on ABC’s “The View,” Joy Behar told her co-hosts she hoped President Donald Trump would be impeached, indicted and forced out of office “soon.”
Behar said, “I feel desperation coming out of the Republican right now.”
Co-host Sunny Hostin said, “Oh.”
Behar continued, “Maybe I’m being optimistic. I feel like, you know, Trump’s numbers, his popularity disappeared faster than the East Wing.”

She added, “Almost 70% of Americans say that the country is seriously on the wrong track. Why do you think he was on “60 Minutes” this week? He wouldn’t go on to be grilled by an actual reporter and answer questions, even though I now find out that he had a hand in which questions would be asked and what they would put out on the air. Excuse me, I don’t think he would have shown up at “60 Minutes” if he was in better shape. So we have hope he will be out soon.”
Co-host Alyssa Farah Griffin said, “Well the elections is in 2028.”
Behar said, “Listen I think he should be in jail, frankly, and personally if they would be doing their job they would be indicting him or at least impeaching him. He’s been crossing boundaries all over the place, this guy. So maybe he won’t last till the next election.”
Trump Says America Is at Crossroads of ‘Communism and Common Sense’ After Mamdani’s Win

President Donald Trump said Wednesday in Miami, Florida, that America is at a crossroads “between communism and common sense” after radical leftist Zohran Mamdani won the New York City mayoral race, which he said is a harbinger for what Congressional Democrats want to do to America.
Trump weighed in on Mamdani’s win and the choice now facing America during his remarks at the America Business Forum in the afternoon.
“After last night’s results, the decision facing all Americans could not be more clear. We have a choice between communism and common sense,” he said.
Mamdani bested former Gov. Andrew Cuomo (I-NY) and Republican Curtis Sliwa on his way to victory Tuesday in the Big Apple.
“And you know, you take a look, look back 1000 years, [communism] hasn’t worked. If it worked, we’d be using it, I guess. But it hasn’t worked. Our opponents are offering an economic nightmare. We’re delivering an economic miracle,” Trump said, touting the record rapid investment that has been pledged since he took office.

He has said that investment commitments will exceed $20 trillion by the end of his first full year in office.
“We want bigger paychecks for American workers and American families, and that’s what we’re delivering, you see that,” he said. “They stand for crime, and chaos, and corruption. We stand for law and order, and justice, also strong borders… They put America last. We put America first.”
Trump said the radical platform on which Mamdani was elected is the same agenda that Democrats in Congress, who have kept the government shut down for 36 days now, want to impose on the country.
“If you want to see what congressional Democrats wish to do to America, just look at the result of yesterday’s election in New York, where their party installed a communist as the mayor of the largest city in the nation,” he told those in attendance.
He also vowed that he would “stop” communism in America so long as he is in office, while also stating that Miami will be a haven to those fleeing communism in New York City.
“As long as I’m in the White House, the United States is not going communist in any way, shape, or form. We’ll stop it. We’re going to stop it, stop this nonsense,” Trump stated.

President Trump Calls Anti-Tariff People ‘Fools,’ Promises $2,000 Dividends for Americans

President Donald Trump on Sunday made it clear how he feels about people who do not agree with tariffs.
Writing in a post on his Truth Social platform, the president said, “People that are against Tariffs are FOOLS!”
“We are now the Richest, Most Respected Country In the World, With Almost No Inflation, and A Record Stock Market Price. 401k’s are Highest EVER. We are taking in Trillions of Dollars and will soon begin paying down our ENORMOUS DEBT, $37 Trillion,” he added.
“Record Investment in the USA, plants and factories going up all over the place. A dividend of at least $2000 a person (not including high income people!) will be paid to everyone,” Trump concluded.
His statement comes as the U.S. Supreme Court heard arguments recently about the legality of his use of emergency powers to impose tariffs on imports from nearly every trading partner, Breitbart News reported Wednesday:
At issue is whether Mr. Trump properly invoked the International Emergency Economic Powers Act (IEEPA) of 1977, a law that gives presidents broad authority during national emergencies, to levy tariffs he says are necessary to address trade deficits, pressure other countries to help the U.S. combat fentanyl smuggling, and protect American manufacturing.
The case has enormous implications for American businesses and consumers, as well as for Mr. Trump’s economic agenda. The president has made tariffs a centerpiece of his trade policy, using them to pressure foreign governments and bring manufacturing back to the United States.
In September, Peter Navarro, who is the senior counselor to Trump for trade and manufacturing, said during a Founders Roundtable on Breitbart Fight Club that the president has proven the nation can use tariffs to lower its trade deficit.
He added, “What the president has swiftly done is make it very clear to the world, they’re not going to cheat us anymore.”
A recent Economist/YouGov poll found Trump’s use of tariffs has overwhelming support among Republican voters, per Breitbart News.
