Las Vegas (KSNV) — King David Memorial Chapel and Cemetery held a 5th birthday party for their beloved pet therapy dog Snickers!
The Goldendoodle helps support those dealing with the death of a loved one but on Wednesday, he celebrated his birthday where he was joined with both human and four-legged friends.
The event also kicked off a citywide pet supplies drive for local animal shelters.
From now through October 31st, community members can donate any new, unopened, pet-friendly items at any Palm Mortuary location or King David Memorial Chapel.
Supplies donated will go to organizations across Southern Nevada that provide and care for animals daily.
Items that will be accepted for donation include dog and cat food, treats, toys, cleaning supplies, and bedding.
