King Charles sends ‘warning shot’ to Prince William with swift move ahead of Prince Harry summit

King Charles sends ‘warning shot’ to Prince William with swift move ahead of Prince Harry summit

Prince William was not invited to the secet summit between Prince Harry and King Charles’ representatives.

William may be the heir, but Charles is the reigning monach, and he makes the final decision, says royal expert

The world is in a tizzy over a meeting between Prince Harry and King Charles’s reps, but there was one major presence missing from the sit-down.

Prince William wasn’t represented, and there’s a reason why, says one royal expert.

King Charles Wants Deeper Relationshijp With Archie and Lilibet

Ian Pelham-Turner, a former royal photographer, spoke to Fox News as to why William wasn’t invited to the summit. According to Pelham-Turner, William not being invited sends a clear message from the patriarch of the family, is the person who calls the shots.

Pelham-Turner said: “The important issue is that Prince William and his representatives were not invited.”

He explained: “I feel that this was a warning shot across William’s bows that Charles is king – not him. It may also be a stark warning that Charles will decide what happens during his reign, not William.”

The Sussexes have been at war with the Royal Family for a while, and it’s being said both sides would like to call a truce

Pelham-Turner, a well-known TV presenter in the UK, started off his career as a commissioned royal photographer.

In those early days, he spent a lot of time at the palace, invited to photograph the Royal Family. His first assignment was to photograph William’s first Christmas with Princess Diana and the then-Prince Charles.

At the time, Pelham-Turner picked up on Charles’ jealous of Diana, that he was not happy his son preferred his mother over him.

Pelham-Turner considers the informal meeting to be “a sign from King Charles” that he “wants peace” with Harry and Meghan and get to know his American grandchildren.

The meeting is considered a step in the right direction by numerous commentators.

Speaking exclusively to Daily Express US, Pelham-Turner said the rift with the Sussexes “will go on as long as the Palace wants it to.”

Prince Harry’s secret motive behind royal peace talks with King Charles revealed as deadline looms

Royal commentator Rupert Bell and Talk TV’s Julia Hartley-Brewer hash out the reasoning behind Prince Harry’s reps sitting down with King Charles’ rep and what’s to come.

Prince Harry is on the outside looking in, and he'd like back in, it's being said

Prince Harry’s reps had a sit-down with King Charles’ rep at a very well-known spot in London, with one royal expert saying this was done intentionally, to make sure it was known that it was happening, but the real question is, what was the purpose behind this meeting?

According to Rupert Bell, Harry has another Invictus Game coming up, which will be held in Birmingham, England in 2027, and it would be “very odd” for his father not to attend as it honors serviceman and women, and while that is a good point, Julia Hartley-Brewer feels like there’s more to the story.

An expert on the Windsor family reveals Prince Harry and his wife's secret

Bell and Hartley-Brewer went over the ins and outs of the recent get together to try and figure out what’s to come in a recent segment of Talk TV.

Hartley-Brewer kicked off the chat, saying: “They decided to do it somewhere very quiet, in the back room, where no one could possibly see them — no, no, no… no they didn’t, they did it in a well-known private members club, sitting outside where they could be photographed, and apparently, Harry and Meghan are horrified anyone has found out about it.”

Harry sends reps to UK

While Hartley-Brewer was being sarcastic, possibly a little sassy, Bell responded quite literally that he does not see the get together as a summit, explaining: “A summit? I wouldn’t go as far as all that. Getting together over a glass of something, just to see where the ground is between the various parties, because I do think Harry is a rudderless ship, he doesn’t know what he’s going to do.”

According to Bell, Harry is lonely and would like to reconnect with his extended family

Harry’s reps, Meredith Maines and Liam Maguire, met with Charles’ rep, Tobyn Andreae, which according to Bell, the folks at the members club are going to recognize them, so it clearly was not meant to be a secret.

There are a number of reasons as to why they met, and no one will know, unless they were sitting at the table, but according to Hartley-Brewer, that’s exactly what it was, a chance to sit down together and “see where the ground is” between them.

Of course, people can guess, and according to Bell, Harry is trying to pull a fast one on his father, and this is all about gaining support in the name of Invictus.

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's inner circle announces a split that can't be fixed

Harry is reportedly lonely

But Hartley-Brewer believes there are two major reasons Harry and Charles would like to call a truce, and possibly meet halfway, and those reasons are: Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet.

The presenter said: “That’s two years away, for me, I would say, Harry’s children haven’t seen their grandparents, or uncles and aunts, or their cousins, in years, has Lilibet even met her grandfather yet?”

Bell agreed about the family element and helped fill in the blanks: “What you’re seeing at the moment, Meghan is saying, ‘It’s not happening.’ And Harry, he’s feeling, bereft, because he has no friends in California, he’s feeling castoff from his family.”

“So, he’s lonely, and I think that is part of the reason, he wants to reconnect with his family, which he was a close member of and a popular member of.”

Prince Harry ‘lovebombing’ King in bid to ‘drive wedge’ between Charles and William

Harry has gone out of his way to reconnect with his father, but it seems like Prince William’s invitation was lost in the mail.

Harry misses his family and is trying to figure out a way back in, it's being reported

Prince Harry appears to be courting King Charles, trying to get on his good side, but according to one royal expert:“You can’t clear the air without speaking to the heir.” Harry sent his reps overseas to meet with the Director of Communications for King Charles, as part of a peace summit, but Prince William’s team did not receive an invite, says The Sun’s Matt Wilkinson.

Wilkinson believes Harry reached out to his father for a reason, to make it look like he’s putting in the effort, whether or not it’s well-received, it’s on the record that he tried.

When appearing on Talk TV, Wilkinson said: “Well, everyone loves a conspiracy, but what we have here, is an attempt, I believe, by Prince Harry and his team, to reach out to the King, and to be seen reaching out to the King.”

He added: “The other issue that I’m worried about is that Harry is very much lovebombing his father, there was no invite to this meeting to Team William, okay?”

Photos of the meeting ran this past weekend, which did not include anyone from Team William

He added: “We’re trying to work out how this story was actually leaked, because we only know about it through a set of pictures, of Toby Andrae, who is the Director of Communications for the King, and Harry’s spin doctors, and you know, as well as I do, that sometimes communications officers maybe have a very high opinion of themselves.

According to Wilkinson, this meeting isn’t going to fix everything, but it’s a step in the right direction.

Prince Harry and King Charles Peace Hopes Rocked by Photo Leak - Newsweek

Harry ‘lovebombing’ his dad

He explained: “The meeting of this trio, is not going to solve the family relationship, it’s not going to end the row, it’s not going to stop Harry from lobbing insults at the King, it’s not going to suddenly order the King to pick up the phone and ring Harry, what it is, is to smooth the waters, open up a certain level of communication, and a certain level of friendship, it was meant to be quiet, and people weren’t meant to know about it (sly smile).”

Wilson pointed out that Harry talks about wanting to speak to his father, but he doesn’t mention his brother, which proves to be problematic.

“In his recent interviews, he’s always talking about how he wants to speak to his father, but, you can’t clear the air without speaking to the heir, you know, the spare needs to speak to the heir.”

It will be Charles and Camilla’s first trip to Australia since 2018, when they opened the Commonwealth Games on the Queensland Gold Coast, and while in Australia, the King is expected to “pause” cancer treatments while abroad and travel with two doctors on the trip.

King Charles said it was “slightly worrying” to think that it was “nearly 60 years” since his first visit to Australia, he said in his first speech in Australia on Sunday, Oct. 20. Addressing a reception at Parliament House in Sydney to mark the legislature’s bicentenary year, the King gave an hourglass as a gift to mark the 200th anniversary of the New South Wales parliament.

“In the spirit of marking the passage of time, it is my great pleasure to present a small gift to the Parliament,” the King said. “It is in fact an hourglass — a speech timer — to sit in the chamber and bear witness to the Legislative Council’s next chapter.”

“With the sands of time encouraging brevity, it just remains for me to say what a great joy it is to come to Australia for the first time as sovereign, and to renew a love of this country and its people which I have cherished for so long,” he added. “So, thank you, thank you, ladies and gentlemen for making me feel so very welcome.”
