One thing Kelly Ripa is going to do is keep it real.
The co-host and her husband Mark Consuelos had Nikki Glaser on their daytime show on Wednesday, April 22, and seconds into the interview, Ripa kindly pointed out that the comedian’s briefs were showing on-air, as seen in a clip shared by Decider.
“Oh wait, you can see your underpants,” Ripa, 55, said as soon as Glaser, who was wearing a minidress, hopped onto her chair.

“It’s just for you,” joked Glaser, 41, who added, “Sorry guys”
Ripa teased, “We don’t mind at all,” to which Glaser replied, “I’ll send you a picture later.”
If there’s anyone who is going to keep it real on live television, it’s Ripa, who has never been afraid to call out her own faux pas in front of an audience.

During a December episode of Live with Kelly and Mark, Ripa appeared onstage “half-dressed.” She also handled another blunder like a pro while dancing with Consuelos for a special episode with Dancing with the Stars pros Val Chmerkovskiy and Jenna Johnson.
Glaser has also had her fair share of sartorial emergencies, like when she attended the 2025 Vanity Fair Oscar party in a look that had drastic changes made to it.
“I got fitted for it a month ago and I’ve been eating too much Skinny Pop,” she told Entertainment Tonight on why she ended up making alterations to her ensemble. “They had to emergency bring in a sewing machine and take out part of the train and make this wider.”
Kelly Ripa’s husband ‘’slept with one eye open’ during difficult time in marriage
Mark Consuelos and Kelly Ripa opened up about their marriage during the April 21 episode of LIVE. The couple talked about Kelly’s transition into menopause, with the ABC star revealing that her husband was unconcerned at the time.
“I wish you could see my DMs from Mark,” Kelly began. “He’s not really a social media guy, but once in a while I’ll open Instagram and I’ll see I got a DM from Mark and I’m like, ‘What is this?'”
She continued: “He slid into my DMs. Something about how to make your shih tzu healthier, tracking steps… what to do if your shih tzu isn’t sleeping.”
“I went through menopause with this man. He was not remotely concerned. There was not a moment where he was like, ‘Are you OK?'”
Mark quipped back after Kelly called him out on-air. “Oh no, I was concerned,” he said. “But for my own safety. I slept with one eye open for like 3.5 years. And a fan.”
“Did I inconvenience you?” asked Kelly. “No, no,” Mark replied. “That wouldn’t be the emotion. It was fear. Fear.”
When asked what he was afraid of, Mark said: “Of being attacked… that’s a joke.” Mark then explained that he attempted to help his wife by blowing air on her when she felt too warm.
“Yeah, but then that just irritated me. His hot breath blowing on me is not cooling me at all,” said Kelly. “But we made it through,” Mark said. “And now you’re good and I love my dog.”
Kelly Ripa menopause
This isn’t the first time Kelly has opened up about her menopause. During an episode of her SiriusXM podcast Let’s Talk Off Camera, which guest starred Dr. Erika Schwartz, founder of Evolved Science and the Live! with Kelly and Mark host’s own hormone doctor, in 2023, Kelly discussed the topic.
“People still whisper the word menopause,” Kelly, who shared she started going through menopause during the pandemic, said, adding: “The information is still so hidden.”
Dr. Schwartz concurred, noting: “We’re still in the Dark Ages,” as she admitted doctors are “completely devoid of information” when it comes to menopause.
The menopause expert even said today she still has patients who will lie about or omit the fact that they’ve started experiencing the symptoms of menopause, and Kelly in turn revealed she has had the same experience with some of her older friends, telling the doctor some will “routinely tell me they still get their periods regularly.”
“They’re talking to me, an open book, and still cannot bring themselves to talk about having gone through menopause,” she continued.
She then added: “It is too scary for them to acknowledge,” as she questioned why today it remains for some an “embarrassing,” taboo topic.
