DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) – The PAWS Humane Society in Wilmington will hold a party for a dog which has been in the shelter for over four years, to help him find a family.
The dog, Percy, has been waiting to be adopted for nearly 1,500 days, which has been half of his life.
“Despite being loving, loyal, and full of personality, Percy continues to be overlooked,” wrote the shelter. “To bring attention to his long wait — and to highlight the many long-term shelter dogs like him — PAWS Humane Society is hosting a special event called ‘Paw-ty for Percy’.”

His party will be on Saturday, Jan. 24, at 2 p.m. It will be held at PAWS Humane Society, 5312 North U.S. 68, Wilmington.
