It’s giving 1950s beach day.

Christie Brinkley is catching some sun in Turks and Caicos this January—and, apparently, getting her craft game on. In a new Instagram post, the model shared a series of photos of her latest vacation look: a black halter string bikini with retro high-waisted bottoms. She wore her blonde hair straight in a side part as she smiled at her reflection in the mirror.

In her pun-filled caption, Brinkley explained that she actually made the mirror’s seashell border herself. “I shell attempt to distract you from the important news you sea on Insta then I’ll clam up and you can scallop back to the more pressing issues of the day,” she wrote. “PS I made this over the 20 + years we’ve been here in Turks&Caicos from things I find on the beach . 🩵🐚💙 🕊️🦜✌️🌴🦩🌺🪸🌝✨🌈🌤️🌊🦑🐬”

Last April, Brinkley shared another bikini snap, posing in a hot red string bikini and a blue cap while enjoying a boat ride.

More recently, Brinkley took to Instagram to share a sweet Christmas family photo with her three kids. Brinkley shares Alexa Ray with her ex-husband Billy Joel, Jack Paris with her ex-husband Richard Taubman, and Sailor with ex-husband Peter Cook. She was also previously married to Jean-François Allaux.

Brinkley recently opened up about what what caused her previous marriages to end while speaking to The New York Times. “I have enough self-esteem to know that in the right arms, I’m lovable,” she said. “And I wasn’t loved correctly. One loved my money more than me. Another loved his drink more than me. Another loved young women more than me. And in my first one, I loved my freedom more than him.”
