The pup thought that he loved him, but he soon realized that things were not as they seemed.

The woman recorded a video of the pup and sent it to dog rescuers, asking for help.

The rescue team was deeply saddened after watching the footage and they immediately went to the dog’s aid.

Upon arriving at the family address, the crew talked to Buster’s owner who agreed to sell them their dog.

The good humans were relieved and they went to the yard to collect the pup.

Buster was defeated and emaciated. As his rescuers approached him, he started wagging his tail.

The crew couldn’t help feeling brokenhearted. Although he was never given love, Buster was friendly and trusting.

They began feeding him and Buster gulped the food as fast as he could.

Receiving The Help He Needed

They drove him to the hospital where he received a thorough medical examination.

Apart from being malnourished, Buster was anemic and dehydrated. He easily got tired after walking.

Despite his condition, the pup felt hopeful. He wagged his tail as he observed the faces of his human friends. Buster sensed that his life had begun changing.

Everyone at the clinic was moved by the dog’s friendly behavior.

When one of the vet staff members hugged Buster, he melted and he couldn’t hold back his tears. It was the first time that someone hugged him.

The dog received a blood transfusion. His doctor said that his recovery process would take around four months.

The Road To Recovery

Buster showed great will to fight to get better. He ate well. His caregivers took him on short walks and he made an effort to walk more.

After he was discharged from the clinic, Buster moved to a shelter.

His rescuers took care of him and fed him nutritious meals.

Thanks to their exceptional care, the dog started gaining weight. His mood improved, too. Buster smiled more and more.

Three months later, the pup transformed into a healthy and strong dog.

He made many doggy friends at the shelter and he loved playing with them.
