Britney Spears Shares Cryptic Post About ‘Sadness and Darkness’ Amid Wellness Concerns

is sharing a cryptic message amid concerns over her well-being.

“Haven’t found my party dress for this year 👗…” Spears, 43, wrote via Instagram on Saturday, November 29. “Reflecting is good for the soul … Sometimes when hard things happen, good things come from it and we learn … I learned that a real note of expression with emotion speaks volumes for us all!!”

She continued, “Call it childish, silly, annoying … We grow up to become women but do you dare keep the most sensitive part of the soul and allow it to rebel … the child within must speak in the most vulnerable of times. Sadness and darkness survive to make an understanding of losing someone and of the hurt and pain …”

Alongside the post, Spears shared a video of her dancing in a leopard-printed body suit with a pair of black heels. She styled her blonde locks down in loose waves as she swayed to the music.

“Sometimes through suffering and ugliness and sacrifice, extremely rare and beautiful things can be manifested and shared that can touch another person so they understand they are not alone … and yet the woman in me will make sure I find my destination,” she concluded. “… PS I can’t even look at food after this Thanksgiving… I cheated I was so bad … but it felt so damn good… forgive me father.”

Spears’ post comes one month after her ex-husband, Kevin Federline, released his tell-all memoir, You Thought You Knew, and expressed concern for the singer after her 13-year conservatorship ended in 2021.

“I’ve felt an increasing urgency that I can’t ignore,” Federline, 47, wrote in the book. “The truth is, this situation with Britney feels like it’s racing toward something irreversible. The signs are all there: the erratic behavior, the isolation, the cycling of people around her, the refusal to accept help. It’s become impossible to pretend everything’s OK.”

Federline claimed that Spears, with whom he welcomed two children, is “getting close to the eleventh hour.” (The exes are parents to Sean Preston, 20, and Jayden James, 19.)

“Something bad is going to happen if things don’t change, and my biggest fear is that our sons will be left holding the pieces,” he wrote. “They love their mom. They’ve seen the red flags. But they don’t know how to help without being attacked, misunderstood or blamed.”

Britney Spears' Instagram account deleted amid a flurry of concerning posts

Spears, for her part, has since clapped back at Federline’s memoir claims. In an October X post, Spears wrote, in part, that his “constant gaslighting … is extremely hurtful and exhausting.” She also slammed his “white lies” and noted that she is “the only one who genuinely gets hurt here.”

One day after Federline released his memoir, Spears made headlines when she dined at Red O in California with her assistant, where eyewitnesses claimed to the Daily Mail that the singer acted “erratically” before “dangerously” speeding home.

The restaurant’s general manager, Oliver Wynn, however, exclusively told Us Weekly at the time that the reports were not “fair, realistic or true.”

“I was there and attended to Britney and her friend,” Wynn said. “She was super chill and really nice. She was in and out of the restaurant within an hour. She just kind of hung out, grabbed a bite to eat and left.”

Us Weekly reached out to Spears’ rep for comment at the time.
