Barron Trump, the youngest son of President Donald Trump and First Lady Melania Trump, is known for keeping a low profile. Although he grew up surrounded by wealth, he’s widely described as humble and kind, and many believe it is his mother who influenced his character.
Recently, an incident from 2025 involving young Barron emerged on the social media and many praise him for his action of stepping up for someone in need of help. Namely, Barron was on the phone with a woman when her ex-boyfriend, identified as 22-year-old former MMA fighter Matvei Rumiantsev, started beating her, according to the Mirror.
According to an east London court hearing, Barron witnessed the attack while on FaceTime with the woman so he made a call to 999.
As reported by the Daily Mail, Rumiantsev, who denies all charges against him, including assault and two counts of rape, grabbed her by the hair and shoved her to the floor while shouting, “you are not worth anything.”

Barron’s call of the emergency services was played during the court hearing. In it, he could be heard saying, “It’s really an emergency, please. I got a call from her with a guy beating her up.”
The operator then says, “Can you stop being rude and actually answer my questions… If you want to help the person, you’ll answer my questions clearly and precisely.”
Barron replied: “I met her on social media. She’s getting really badly beat up and the call was about eight minutes ago, I don’t know what could have happened by now,” later adding, “So sorry for being rude.”
A police unit was sent to the home, and bodycam footage later shown in court captured officers questioning the woman.
They informed her that a call had come in from the United States but did not disclose the caller’s identity.
“I am friends with Barron Trump, Donald Trump’s son,” she told the officers.

One police officer was heard telling a colleague: “So apparently this informant from America is likely to be Donald Trump’s son.”
With police at the scene, the woman called Barron back. In video shown to jurors, he is heard saying, “She called me. I picked up the phone expecting a nice hello or something, I just saw a ceiling and could hear screaming. I could see a guy’s head on the phone, and then the camera turns to her crying and getting hit.”
According to The Independent, Barron Trump said the call lasted around 10 to 15 seconds, and as it ended, he dialed 999.
“I called you guys – that was the best thing I could do,” he told officers. “I wasn’t going to call back and threaten things to him because that would just make the situation worse.”
“He helped save my life. That call was like a sign from God at that moment, the woman said in court,” according to the Mirror.
The young Trump was praised for his quick-thinking. He truly is an extraordinary young man.

Barron Trump told police he was ‘very close’ to alleged rape victim, court hears
Donald Trump’s son was on video call with woman when he saw a man repeatedly punch her, court told
Donald Trump’s youngest son said he was “very close” to an alleged rape victim after raising the alarm about a suspected assault against her, a court has heard.
Barron Trump was on a FaceTime video call a year ago with the woman, who cannot be named, when he saw a man repeatedly punch her, Snaresbrook crown court in Greater London was told on Wednesday.
Matvei Rumiantsev, 22, is on trial on charges including assault and two counts of rape against the alleged victim, who jurors have heard is friends with the US president’s son.
Rumiantsev, who denies the charges, told the court he got upset when he accused the woman of calling Trump “sweetheart” but denied he was in a controlling relationship with her.
A transcript of an emergency call released by the Crown Prosecution Service on Thursday shows Trump telling the operator that he met the alleged victim on social media.
“She’s getting beat up,” Trump said.
Asked by the operator whether he had seen the alleged assault on social media, Trump said: “No, no … a video call.”

On Thursday the court heard that in a later email to Metropolitan police officers investigating the allegations, Trump relayed what the alleged victim had told him. He wrote: “I was told by the victim, who I am very close with, that this individual was giving her difficulty for a long time.”
Describing what he witnessed on the video call, he said it was “very brief indeed but indeed prevalent”, the court heard.
Trump said he video-called the woman in the early hours of 18 January last year, after previously suggesting to the emergency operator that she had called him.
“I didn’t expect her to pick up due to the time difference,” Trump said in his email to police, the court heard.
It added: “The phone was picked up. The individual who answered was a shirtless man with darkish hair. This view lasted maybe one second … then the view flipped to the victim.”
As well as raising the alarm, Trump said he also asked two friends in the US to call the police, the court heard.
Rumiantsev, who wore a blue suit and white shirt in the dock, denies assault, actual bodily harm, two counts of rape, intentional strangulation and perverting the course of justice by putting pressure on the woman to withdraw her complaints.
Rumiantsev was asked about an incident on 3 November 2024 when the woman called the police alleging that the defendant had broken her air fryer. According to a video recorded by a police officer on a body-worn camera, she told officers Rumiantsev was jealous and “controlling of who I can be friends with,” the court heard.
Sasha Wass, KC for the defence, asked what the woman meant. Rumiantsev replied: “That was a reference to her relationship with Barron Trump.”
He added: “I was never controlling”.
The defendant confirmed they had discussed Trump that evening. He told the court: “She raised it. She just started showing me her conversations with him.”
He added: “I tried to explain to her that I felt upset by her talking to Barron Trump.” He told the court that the woman was texting Trump during their argument.
Returning home after the row, Rumiantsev sent text messages to the woman, the court heard. He confirmed that one message could be translated as: “You started calling him sweetheart, I felt so unwell.” He added: “I was referring to Barron Trump.”

In the transcript of the call to the emergency operator on 18 January 2025 in which he alleged an assault, Trump said: “This was happening about eight minutes ago. I just figured out how to call someone … it’s really an emergency.”
In the call Trump appeared to be frustrated by questions about how he knew the alleged victim. He said: “I mean these details don’t matter, she’s getting beat up.”
He was then asked by the operator: “I need to take information from you so how have you come by this information?”
He said: “Uh I got a call from her with a guy beating her up.”
The operator said: “How do you know her?”
Trump replied: “I don’t think these details matter, she’s getting beat up but OK fine, also I met her on social media, I don’t think that matters.”
The operator said: “Can you stop being rude and actually answer my questions. If you want to help the person, you’ll answer my questions clearly and precisely.”
After saying he did not know the name of the man allegedly carrying out the assault, Trump said: “Sorry for being rude.”
The trial continues.

Barron Trump’s extremely luxurious childhood and net worth as President’s son ‘saves life’ with 999 call
Donald Trump’s youngest son has been in the headlines this week

Donald Trump’s youngest son has made news this week after a transcript of a 999 call he made from the US to police in the UK was read out in an East London courtroom. Barron Trump, the 19-year-old son of the US President, made the call in January last year, after allegedly witnessing a friend being attacked by her MMA-fighter boyfriend on a video call. The trial is ongoing.
Barron usually makes fewer headlines than his billionaire politician father, so many may not actually know that much about his life. The President’s fifth child has undoubtedly experienced an extraordinarily privileged existence since birth, and continues to develop a remarkably high net worth.
The 6ft7 undergraduate is the sole child of Donald Trump and his spouse, Melania Trump, whilst the US President also has four additional children from two former marriages.

Some of the luxuries Barron has been enjoying since childhood include a golden pram gifted by Ellen DeGeneres, and reportedly as a young child, Barron already had an entire level of his parents’ Manhattan penthouse dedicated to him.
The suite, situated in Trump’s infamous Fifth Avenue property, reportedly boasted a nursery, sitting room, kitchen, and accommodation for Melania and the nannies, reports the Mirror. He seemed to thoroughly enjoy the expansive space, with Melania revealing to People following his birth that he was a “very good baby” and “not like a crybaby – he’s calm, and it’s fantastic.”
As a youngster, Barron also reaped the benefits of Melania’s business ventures when she unveiled her caviar-enriched skincare collection, Caviar Complexe C6, in 2013. At just seven years old, Barron had already embraced an upmarket skincare routine.
Melania told ABC News at the time that she slathered the premium moisturiser on Barron nightly following his bath. She said: “I put it on him from head to toe. He likes it!”
When Trump entered the White House in 2017, young Barron was promptly assigned his own private area of the presidential home. Prior to living in the Whitehouse, Barron studied at Columbia Grammar and Preparatory School, situated in Manhattan’s Upper West Side. During his final year there, he sponsored his entire fifth-grade class for a Washington trip, where a group of 80 pupils, staff, and Secret Service personnel visited the White House.

From there, Barron went to St Andrew’s in Potomac, Maryland, where charges reached a staggering $50,000 (£39,000) per year. After the Trumps relocated to Mar-a-Lago in 2021, Barron transferred to Oxbridge Academy in Palm Beach, where annual fees amount to a substantial $38,000 (£29,000), according to the institution’s website.
Despite his privileged upbringing, Barron spent quality time with his Slovenian grandparents, enjoying traditional dishes prepared by his late grandmother, Amalija Knavs. He grew up eating Slovenian food and speaks the language fluently, taught by his mother and grandparents. He also has a working knowledge of French.
Melania has repeatedly stressed both her and Trump’s dedication to being actively involved in Barron’s life. Speaking to People in 2015, Melania outlined her approach to motherhood: “I like to be hands-on. I think it’s very important. Barron is nine years old. He needs somebody as a parent there, so I am with him all the time. As you know, my husband is travelling all the time.”
During Trump’s time at home, Melania highlighted his fathering abilities, describing how he would begin his days talking and connecting with Barron. Trump previously admitted: “We keep it [nannies] down to a minimum. If you have too much help, you don’t get to know your children.”
In 2012, Melania also told Hip Mama magazine that Barron was “a very strong-minded, very special, smart boy” who is “independent and opinionated and knows exactly what he wants.”
Regardless of Barron’s luxurious upbringing and numerous advantages, Melania valued her role as a mother and dedicated all available time to him. “I am a full-time mum; that is my first job. The most important job ever,” the first lady stated.
As Melania’s first and Trump’s fifth child and only child together, the news of Barron’s birth seemed to have taken the president by surprise. In an interview at the time, Melania told People: “He came home (one day last August), and I told him he’d be a daddy. And his reaction was at first he needed to take it in. It was a real surprise. And then he was very happy.”
Trump admitted that whilst he expected to have children with Melania, Barron’s rapid arrival was unforeseen. He previously said: “I expected we were going to have children, so I wasn’t totally surprised. But I was surprised by the speed of it. It happened very quickly.”
These days, Barron may be a student, but that hasn’t prevented him from accumulating wealth of his own. According to Forbes, the teen has a reported net worth of around $150million (around £110.4million).
Much of his net worth comes down to investments in crypto tokens, of which the Trump family has many, presumably divided between them. Barron is listed as a co-founder of World Liberty Financial along with his father and older brothers. Trump himself also admitted that Barron had taught him a thing or two about cryptocurrency, including what a ‘wallet’ is.
