Actress Angelina Jolie, who stars in the new movie Couture that recently premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival, shared a rare comment while doing press for the film about what her daughter Zahara has been up to lately.

Jolie stopped to speak with a journalist at Entertainment Tonight, and the two discussed the experience of sending children off to college.

Reflecting on her personal experiences, the 50-year-old said, while referring to the reporter’s daughter who recently headed off to school, “You know, the great thing is, she’s going to return even more of a woman, even more of a mind, even more of a thinker.”

“You’re going to learn so much from this extraordinary person she’s going to become,” she went on.

Jolie then touched on her daughter Zahara’s college experience, as the 20-year-old is currently studying at Spelman College in Atlanta, Ga. “My daughter’s in her last year of university,” she declared. “I just feel like I got to have the great gift of being able to learn from her and hear what she’s doing and live vicariously. It’s amazing!”

Zahara’s older brother Maddox also went away for college, deciding to study at the prestigious Yonsei University in Seoul, South Korea.

Zahara is Thriving While Studying at Spelman College

While Jolie and her children tend to keep their personal lives private, fans have seen glimpses here and there of Zahara’s life at college, and she appears to be thriving. When she first arrived at Spelman College, Jolie proudly celebrated the exciting moment on social media, showing off her daughter’s accomplishment.

Soon after, fans from all over shared overwhelming support for Zahara as she joined the historic Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority. The sorority shared a video showing some new members, including Zahara, participating in what is called the “crossing ceremony,” and fans couldn’t get enough of the sweet, wholesome moment.

Earlier this year, Jolie attended a special mother-daughter brunch to support Zahara as she gave a speech about period poverty at an event put on by Women in Training, Inc. Jolie and Zahara looked radiant in all white outfits as they posed for photos with others in attendance.

Along with Zahara and Maddox, Jolie is also mother to a son named Pax, a daughter named Shiloh, as well as twins Knox and Vivienne.

Shiloh Jolie, the daughter of Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt, was spotted enjoying a nice day out and about in Los Angeles, Calif. with her close friend Keoni Rose over the weekend.

In new photos of the two together, Shiloh looked relaxed and happy as she walked side by side with Keoni while wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, shorts and black sneakers. Meanwhile, Keoni wore an equally relaxed outfit of dark sweatpants and a tank top.

The duo were reportedly seen leaving Fōnuts Donut Bakery in the Studio City neighborhood with a bag of treats, smiling as they walked to a vehicle.

Like Shiloh, Keoni is a dancer, and she was one of a couple of dancers who performed Shiloh’s choreographed performance at a recent high-profile event. The two have been spotted together many times in recent months.

Shiloh tends to keep a low profile, staying out of the spotlight except for rare occurrences when she accompanies her mother to various Hollywood events. She is usually photographed heading to dance lessons in Los Angeles.

Last year, Shiloh made headlines when she decided to legally change her last name from Jolie-Pitt to just Jolie, making a bold statement regarding her relationship with her father. Some of her siblings have taken similar actions to separate themselves from Pitt.

Angelina Jolie’s Lookalike Daughter Vivienne Spotted In Rare NYC Outing

Angelina Jolie‘s 16-year-old daughter Vivienne, whom she shares with ex-husband Brad Pitt, was spotted running errands earlier this week in New York City.

While any sighting of Vivienne or Jolie’s other children is rare, it was also a surprise to see Vivienne in NYC, as only weeks earlier, she was seen out and about in Los Angeles, Calif. with her twin, Knox.

In the new photos, Vivienne wore a white T-shirt and white pants as she carried some water during a heat wave in the city. It’s unclear why she is visiting NYC, as she usually lives in LA with her family.

In 2024, Vivienne spent a lot of time in NYC with her mother as Jolie produced the new musical, The Outsiders, based on the popular novel. Her daughter served as a volunteer assistant in the production.

In an interview with People, Jolie revealed what it was like working with Vivienne, saying, “She’s been a really tough assistant. She takes it very, very seriously.”

Jolie and Vivienne attended the Tony Awards together in June of last year, matching in teal ensembles. The Outsiders ended up having a successful night, taking home four awards, including Best Musical.
